Surprising as it may be, not everyone finds discussions about gillnets, bycatch mitigation, and maximum sustainable yield interesting. As a person who devoured the Mismanagement of Marine Fisheries in the way that young persons devour The Twihunger Potter or whatever, I can't say I understand this much. Nevertheless I accept that there are a lot of important environmental issues, and only so many hours in the day. Should you be in the position of caring about marine environments but unable to spend hours learning the minutiae of fishing, may we suggest you take a look at this lovely rap music video, in which pretty much every major concept about fisheries management is covered?
